In this episode of Turkish-American Hour program, we are pleased to show our viewers scenes from the concert of well-known Turkish Diva and songwriter Sezen Aksu, accompanied by world renown composer and pianist Fahir Atakoglu, performed on April 4, 2010, at the Strathmore Hall in Bethesda, Maryland.
We interviewed the Turkish vocalist Sertab Erener and composer/guitarist Demir Demirkan during their pop music concert in K Street Lounge, in Washington, D.C. on April 8, 2010. These amazing Turkish stars are on a tour in U.S. to promote their self-titled album PAINTED ON WATER.
We also have a short video about Space Camp Turkey, one of the five International Space Camps in the world. As a space and science education center, Space Camp Turkey is primarily focused on motivating young people from around the world in pursuing careers in science, math and technology. The Camp is located in Western Turkish province of Izmir.
In the last segment of the program, we show another installment of “Living Treasure”, a documentary film about the biodiversity of Turkey.
