2016 Youth Video Contest Finalists

The American Turkish Association of DC (ATA-DC)  and Turkish American TV (TATV) launched the Youth Video Contest on the theme of “Peace and Harmony” in September 2016. Youth 29 year of age or younger submitted their video creations by November 30, 2016 from all parts of the United States of America.

We are pleased to announce that five of the contestants were selected as finalists by a jury of media professionals, videographers, digital storytellers, and TV producers. The winners will be announced at the Award Ceremony on Sunday, December 18, 2016 in Fairfax, Virginia.

The 2016 Youth Video Contest Finalists are:

Awards:
Top three videos will receive cash prizes: $1000 for first-place, $500 for second-place, and $250 for third-place.

Two finalists will receive Special Jury Recognition Certificate.

All other 2016 Youth Video Contest participants will be offered “one hour” professional video production tutoring, training, or consulting free of charge from the TATV video production staff or industry partners who are experts in their field of specialty.
