2015 YOUTH VIDEO CONTEST WINNERS

PRESS RELEASE – TATV YOUTH VIDEO CONTEST WINNERS

Fairfax, VA – The Turkish American TV (TATV) launched on May 19, 2015, the first “A Day in the Life of a Young Videographer” video contest as part of celebrating the 10th anniversary of its media service. TATV’s aim is to motivate youth to engage with videography, audio-visual arts, and journalism. The contest ended on May 25th.

A Panel of Jurists reviewed submissions and chose three winners which will receive the “Best Youth Video of 2015″ Award and will be aired as a TATV special program.  TATV proudly recognizes the winning videos submitted by Eray Tulun, Aybars Koçoğlu, and Mira Bayraktar. The award winning videos can be viewed at turkishamericantv.org/award-winning-youth-videos.

The “Best Youth Video of 2015″ winners will be presented a Certificate of Recognition in honor of their achievements on Saturday, June 6th at the Turkish Heritage festival at Tyson Corner Center, VA. More details on the award ceremony will be posted to turkishamericantv.org and the TurkAmericanTV Facebook page.

Three additional youth videos submitted by Gökçe Necioğlu, Gökhan Necioğlu, and Mete Can Erdi were chosen as TATV Staff Picks. They can be viewed at turkishamericantv.org/2015-youth-video-staff-picks.
