Turkish American TV hosted an open house for students in Washington DC area last Sunday, February 22nd. I had a chance to join them, and I am very glad I did!
TATV is the longest running Turkish TV program in the United States. They’ve been serving as a community and volunteer TV show since 2005, and they have received several awards.

Turkish students from different schools had a great time while meeting with each other and TATV’s volunteer production crew. During a studio tour, we were able to see how a show is recorded. As a Communication major student in the University Of Maryland College Park, the open house was a great opportunity for me and my fellow students. We have decided to help and be the future volunteer group.
