TATV Celebrating 9th Year

TATV aired its first program on September 26, 2005 in Fairfax, VA. Produced by a group of dedicated and talented volunteers, Turkish-American TV programs received four community service awards for presenting Turkish life and culture through carefully selected interviews, music, art and dance perfo…rmances, and historical and cultural documentaries. TATV also received a “Top Producer” award from Fairfax Public Access (FPA) and “Excellence in Media” award from the Assembly of Turkish American Associations (ATAA).

The TATV programs are aired by Community TVs in Arlington and Fairfax Counties in Virginia, Montgomery and Prince George’s Counties in Maryland, and Mountain View, Cupertino, Los Altos, and all San Francisco Bay area cities in California. Turkish-American TV programs are also available on the Internet for world-wide viewers.
